Talk City Greensboro: Greenhill H2O Exhibit/Linda Villarosa

June 14, 2022 Caroline Armijo

Thank you to Rosemary Plybon for hosting Linda and myself last Friday morning! A little before my coffee had kicked in, but it was a great way to kick off the day!

Also available on the Talk City Greensboro podcast.

Show Details: Greenhill Center for North Carolina Art features an exhibit on water called what other than, H-2-O. It’s all about environmental stewardship, and for a Greensboro woman, it’s personal. Caroline Armijo is an artist and activist and Linda Villarosa is a writer and journalist and we were lucky enough to have a chance for a Zoom interview with them both!

Sharing Slides at Greenhill

March 21, 2022 Caroline Armijo

Wednesday night, I will be sharing more about the art created for H2O Exhibit at Greenhill Center for NC Art. I am very pleased with how the exhibit turned out. It is an immersive experience with art, collected objects and audio from the community. Will Warasila’s photos are also on display. Will’s MFA Show was cut short because of COVID, so this is a chance to see both of our work together. I’m pleased that at the heart of the installation are photos and audio of the community. The Lilies Project has been a community partnership and I love how strong their presence feels in the show.
