Collaboration: Faces of Belews Creek

Coal Ash ArT

In a collaborative project, Will Warasila photographed members of the Belews Creek community who attended the DEQ Community Meeting presenting information about the closure of the Belews Creek Coal Ash basin. The stories of the members were collected by Dr. Marie Garlock and Michael Betts, III. The images and stories were compiled into a booklet and submitted as official comments for the closure plans.
